LG Rumoured to be Launching Two Android Smart Watches

Two new LG smartwatches are rumoured to be launching this month in the US. The watches are made in conjunction with Google and will be called the Watch Sport and Watch Style. The Sport will be the bigger of the two, will be more rugged and have LTE connectivity. The Style will only be able to use Bluetooth and WiFi to receive data. Both of these watches will have a physical button that is rumoured to also act as a digital crown for navigating the interface of the watch. Both watches will have Google Assistant built-in.

The LG Watch Sport is rumoured to be 14.2mm thick with a 1.38 inch OLED display and offering IP68 environmental protection. It is said to have 768MB of RAM, 4GB of storage and a battery capacity of 430mAh. It also features a heart rate sensor and offers LTE connectivity, NFC and GPS.

The LG Watch Style is reported to be 10.8mm thick with a 1.2 inch display with a 360 x 360 pixel resolution and offering an IP67 protection rating. It is said to have 512MB RAM and 4GB of storage with a 240mAh battery

LG is also expected to unveil its new flagship smartphone, the LG G6 at the upcoming MWC 2017 in Barcelona, which starts on 27th February and ends on 2nd March 2017.
