Interactive castle on Malta – the Citadella of Gozo

Sarner International, which specialises in theme parks and museums, has helped enhance the visitor experience at the Citadella pf the knights of St John on the Maltese island of Gozo. There are seven zones and the main one can hold 30 people and there was a show of 8 minutes. Further on, there is a zone with 16 projectors mapped onto the interior of one of the domed reservoirs to create a 360º experience. The display is driven by an AV Stumpfl Wings Engine with blending and warping using Wings Visio, optimised by Sarner staff.

Each side of the tunnel walls is lined with 15 LCDs and all 30 are driven by AV Stumpfl FHD players, while five more players are used to support stand-alone projection displays.

All zones are coordinated through a Wings Stage system, with video timelines handled by AV Stumpfl’s SC Master. There’s a video at the end of this article.
