Sharp in America launched a new Aquos Board interactive display. The 39.5″ unit is for huddle spaces and small offices. The unit has FullHD resolution and is fitted with 10 point PCap touch. The display also has a mini-OPS slot for expansior, for example, to add HDBaseT support. (Sharp showed three mini-OPS boards at ISE – Impact of Foxconn Acquisiton Shows at Sharp). Sharp highlighted its ‘Pen-on-Paper’ technology which is said to replicate a paper experience, using a pen with a 2mm tip.
The PN-C401C comes bundled with Sharp’s Pen Software, and users can download Display Connect and Sharp Touch Viewer at no additional cost.
The unit will ship from the end of March.
